Executive Chairman & CEO of USDFA Project Mobile Clinic Ghana
Martin Dwamena was nominated as the local representative of USDFA in May 2007 and appointed Executive Chairman and CEO of US Doctors For Africa (USDFA) Mobile Clinic Project in Ghana in November 2007. Initial work conducted in Ghana acted as the template for a pilot launch in Senegal. US Doctors for Africa plans to deploy two hundred mobile health clinics and two thousand medical professionals in communities throughout Sub-Saharan Africa over the next ten to fifteen years.
Delivering Healthcare: The primary mission of the mobile clinics is to deliver basic primary healthcare to millions of people living in rural areas that have little or no access to advanced healthcare. The first Mobile Clinic is set to deploy to Africa in January 2008.
